Key facts
| Ages | No specific age range published on the pages checked as of 2026-10-09; the FAQ references a study hall option for '5th grade and up' and otherwise describes classes generally without a stated overall grade band. |
|---|---|
| Location | Hosted at Shorelife Church, 5772 McFadden Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92649 (wheel/pottery classes held separately at 15180 Transistor Ln, Huntington Beach, per the site). The source spreadsheet lists Westminster as the city; the organization's own site places its campus in Huntington Beach, not Westminster. |
| Cost | No student fee to register for classes at Legacy Center itself; cost is set per-class by each independent vendor/teacher, so total cost depends on which vendor classes a family chooses and is not published as one figure. A $15 administration fee applies to add a class after initial enrollment via the parent portal. (as of 2026-10-09) |
| Schedule | No single weekly schedule is published on the pages checked; families build their own day from the class calendar. A separate 'After School at Legacy' program runs on Wednesdays. |
| Enroll window | Registration routes through a separate hub site (legacy-center-hub.com); no specific calendar enrollment deadline was published on the pages checked. |
What stands out
- The source spreadsheet lists Westminster as Legacy Center's city, but the organization's own site places its campus at Shorelife Church, 5772 McFadden Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92649 (with a separate wheel/pottery class address also in Huntington Beach), not Westminster. (source)
- States explicitly in its own FAQ, 'No, we are not a vendor. We are a one stop shop for your homeschool enrichment classes.' Legacy Center hosts independent vendors and teachers rather than acting as a single charter-approved vendor itself, so charter acceptance is set by each individual vendor, not centrally by Legacy Center. (source)
- Describes its mission using language about supporting students 'in body, soul, spirit, and mind' and hosts classes inside a church building (Shorelife Church); the FAQ and homepage checked did not state a specific faith-based curriculum requirement for enrollment. (source)
Questions to ask
- Is this the same Legacy Center previously associated with Westminster, or has it always been based in Huntington Beach?
- Which specific charters do the individual vendors at this location currently accept?
- What is the realistic total cost once a family selects several vendor classes for one child?
